Meet Anna and Tom. After their 50 metre yacht “The 中文聽說讀寫“ was destroyed by a tropical cyclone off the coast of McMurdo Sound, in the Ross Sea, both were washed up on a deserted beach near the isolated settlement of Harwood, NZ. With their bare fingernails they scratched a cave in the staggering cliffs where they sought refuge from harsh weather-conditions, native predators and the birdflu. On a Wednesday, shortly after the release of Coldplay’s third studio album, they gave birth to a wonderful love child called Eva-Louise. Ten years later and with the help of Wall Street investors they run the world’s smallest media network. Their story was the inspiration for several countless box-office hits (Titanic, The Blue Lagoon, Jaws I, II, III, VI, V and XIV, etc.).

The day finally arrives...

Hello,

We know many people have been waiting for news and photos from the wedding. Here is a small taste as we hastily pack for our honeymoon after a busy schedule of family activities. We will provide a more comprehensive overview when we return.

...It was a typical Belgian summer's day, in other words it was raining, which we are told is good luck. The church service was very beautiful and they even let me say my vows in English which was a relief. Tom's former choir sang for us, we were very impressed actually, they even did a Maori song. The service progressed well with Anna managing not to fall over in her high heels and wedding train and Tom (almost) managing to get the ring on smoothly. Little Eva was really well behaved though a little unhappy about the water part of her baptism; She also did not recognise Anna in her veil and screamed at being handed to some strange woman with a sheet on her head. The reception was great, the food was really good and we managed to eat until after midnight and our DJ Ludwig rocked us with the best of the 80s (very popular with the local crowd) until 6 am. All in all it was a very succesful day.

Thank you all that could not attend for your best wishes and gifts. We will be in touch soon.

Anna and Tom
